Top Albums of 2017

Every year I find it extremely difficult to cull and cut my favorite releases of the year down to some form of "top list" - normally I try and cut this down to a top 15 - often broken down into broad genres such as Death/Doom, Industrial, Progressive - but this year I found myself with so many good albums that even dropping down to a top 50 was hard.

But here we are - in purely alphabetical order - there's so many "but what about album X" that should be in this list, but if I included everything that really caught my attention this year I'd more than likely have a top 100 ( or more ) - so here it is, culled to 50....
